Old kitchen revamped – added thousands of dollars to the value of this home. The old laminate bench tops were replaced with some beautiful kiln dried Blackbutt Timber Slabs, the old stove replaced with a stainless steel one, a few new handles, a few Black Butt shelves and the kitchen has never looked so good.
Blackbutt is an Australian hardwood and is a bright alternative to darker timbers such as blue gum and jarrah. All Timber Slabs Warehouse kitchen bench tops are kiln dried to ensure stability.
Blackbutt Trees
The timber for this kitchen has real sentimental value for the owner as the Blackbutt trees were blown over in a storm on her property. Timber Slabs Warehouse milled, dried and dressed the timber into Blackbutt Timber Slabs. We then listened to what the owner wanted, measured up and created the beautiful kitchen you see in the pictures. More on kitchen benchtops.

Eucalyptus pilularis is a tree that typically grows to a height of 70 m (230 ft) but does not form a lignotuber.
